Well all anti-virus soft ware is slow. I have Defender Pro, that I bought at wal-mart for $15.00 and it came with free anti-spy, free scam protector. Also I use Sybot, which is free from www.windowsmarketplace.com, it will also take the errors out of your computer and make it run faster.
I have McAfee Security Suite, Spybot, Adaware, SpywareBlaster, CleanUp, XP Repair Pro, UDefrag, Comodo BOClean, and I use Firefox.
