Are there any utilities which can cut short/edit a song?

Say, from 7 minutes to 3 minutes.

I want to shorten a song, as there are sections which I don't like. Are there any easy-to-use and attractive interface programs which can do this?

yes there are. actually you can cut a song down or extend it by playing around with it in windows movie maker. Though it will only make the song change while it's being player in movie maker unless you transfer the file to a dvd or digital cam of some sort......But just go to downloads.com and look for a free program.
