torrent sites are pretty good but you still need a download client....i use isohunt.com for albums and films and download them to a program called azureus, for my music i have always stucky by limewire as i get lots of virus' with anything else.

Frostwire is essentially a free non-restricted version of Limewire Pro. If you're choosing between Limewire and Frostwire, definitely choose Frostwire. Shareaza handles some of the same networks and also does bittorrent. But if you want bittorrent and you're on Windows, uTorrent is best that. Don't both with the official BitTorrent client or Imesh. This is my educated opinion, but some of it is personal preference.
I use Morpheus.com and I've never had any problems with viruses, or other undesireables.
I also have Norton Antivirus %26 update the virus definitions regularly.
