Just run a full scan with your antivirus program. If you don't have one, get AVG...it's free and works very well.

Run both of these on-line scans and let them remove what they find. Both are free and excellent at detecting and removing malware free of charge. There is no need to un-install your current protections before using these.

1. Scan for virus, worms, dialers, etc. and remove (free online scan, no download) with BitDefender's Online Scanner

2. Scan for trojans, adware, and spyware and remove (free online scan, no download) with Ewido Online Scanner ( now known as AVG Anti-Spyware). This is NOT the same as AVG Anti-Virus.

These scans will take quite a bit of time. The time is necessary to clean-up an infected computer.

If you have Microshaft Windows products, then go to www.majorgeeks.com and download and run AdAware and AVG. Better yet, get rid of them permanently by going to www.kubuntu.org and running Feisty Fawn, which is superior to all Microsoft products.
