spyware on yahoo answers?

Everytime I am on yahoo answers the computer C R A W L S .Working faster when I log off this site.Ran Spybot,found ABetterintert alert.

Is this site free from spyware?Not a pc expert,please advise.

Amazing this question just came up. I was just having the same problem! Also all kinds of strange things like while answering questions, pieces of "My Answers" kept popping up on the screen. I shut down Yahoo Answers, ran every program i have, i.e. CrapCleaner, Adaware, Etrust, etc. Then rebooted. Seems to have cleared the problem for now.

Amendment: Dang but it is still doing it. I think something is wrong with Yahoo.

Yes... certainly Yahoo Answers is free from spyware. It could be some other site that has planted a trojan on to your machine. Run some antispyware utility like the one in this site. It should solve your problem.

Yahoo Answers uses 'java script' that may cause performance problems on your computer.....otherwise....it's safe.
