About every 30 seconds my mouse cursor freezes, then it's ok?

This is a new problem, could I have some spyware doing this? What's a good free anti spyware program, for an xp system?

Use http://www.lavasoftusa.com or http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index... (spybot) or windows defender.. but i don't trust Microshaft. http://www.avg.com but you have to manually hit the scan button every week or so. Also try Spyware Blaster which is a great way to prevent 1000's of spyware from getting on your system with out having to actively scan it on the fly. http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareb... (won't clean it but great for preventing it)

Go in control pannel and adjust your mouse' If no help try running IE Without add on.You can always Enable them Back. Or you can restore IE settings by going to the advance tab on internet options,which restores the setting to their origional manufactures specifications this also disables your IE add ons'
This could be caused by a number of problems. Because i do not know the specific kind of mouse you have, i will offer one simple answer that has worked for me, as i have had the exact same problem. This will sound funny, but i fixed my freezing when i replaced the battery with a new one. My mouse had a AAA battery inside that was loosing energy.
